See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Known locally as the Bont, this friendly country pub, over 150 years old, nestles in the beautiful Gwaun Valley at a bridging point across the river. The cosy bars with log fires serve mainly local real ales and sometimes a guest ale from further afield. The dining room is housed in the smithy, once run as a complimentary business to the inn, and features an external water wheel. Check with the inn for winter opening and food times. Pembrokeshire Pub of the Year 2017.
